The Drop 208 Pickleball Club emerged from a meaningful personal journey with the sport, which began years ago when I was first introduced to the game. I quickly discovered that pickleball wasn't just a sport; it was a wonderful way to stay active while socializing with family and friends. The game's unique blend of fun and fitness captivated me, and I found immense joy in both playing and connecting with others. Fast forward a couple of years, when my 6-year-old daughter expressed a desire to learn this exciting game. Eager to share my passion with her, I began searching for local opportunities for her to get involved in pickleball. To my dismay, I found a surprising lack of accessible programs and resources tailored for young children in our community. This gap ignited an idea: to create The Drop 208 Pickleball Club. My vision for the club is to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where children can not only learn the fundamentals of pickleball but also build their confidence, make friends, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with team sports. Through coaching, organized play, and community events, I aim to instill a love for the game in the next generation, ensuring that other families have the same opportunities to experience the joy and connection that pickleball has brought to my life.
